Porn Addicted Rapists 19

A serial rapist who downloaded vile images of child abuse while serving four life sentences for a catalogue of sex offences has been told by top judges he cannot complain about his latest jail term
Richard Anthony Baker, who was well-known on the Plymouth nightclub scene, managed to get a computer tablet into the Milton Keynes secure psychiatric unit where he was being held, which he hid inside a wooden picture frame and used to access the sickening photographs.
After being transferred to another prison, he then tried to get a fellow inmate with IT expertise to erase his history on several accounts.
Baker – dubbed one of Britain’s worst sex offenders – was convicted of 13 offences including three rapes and an attempted rape on victims aged 15, 16 and 18.

Federal prosecutors have brought a new charge of child pornography against an Endicott man already facing a 25-year state prison term for rape.
Michael L. Gumaer, 49, is expected to be arraigned at Binghamton's federal courthouse Dec. 30 on felony charges of sexual exploitation of children, along with production and possession of child pornography, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. A criminal complaint against Gumaer prepared by the FBI was unsealed Wednesday after being filed in mid-October.
The newly filed federal charges were made public after Gumaer pleaded guilty in Broome County Court to a felony count of first-degree rape against a 12-year-old girl. He is expected to be sentenced in February to the maximum of 25 years in prison.
Gumaer is being held in the Broome County jail and is facing federal prosecution separately from first-degree rape case, though court records indicate they stem from the same police investigation.
Court papers say the investigation began Aug. 28 after Endicott police responded to a complaint involving several "inappropriate images" and a video file of a 12-year-old girl engaging in sexual intercourse with a male, later identified in court records as Gumaer — the victim's neighbor.
The victim's family recognized Gumaer from the video even though his face was not visible, court papers said.
Endicott detectives then interviewed the girl, who described alleged sexual abuse in graphic detail, according to court papers. She also told police Gumaer forced her to perform oral sexual contact with him as well as sexual intercourse, court papers said.
Gumaer is also accused of filing the illegal sex acts using the victim's iPhone 4s cell phone, investigators said.
A forensic analysis in September of the girl's iPhone revealed 14 images involving illegal sexual acts with the victim and a 26-second video clip, according to court papers.
The U.S. Attorney's Office is pursuing a federal prosecution due to the images of illegal sexual acts against the girl being on an iPhone device that assembled in China and not in New York State.
Investigators pursued a separate lead in the case on Sept. 22, court papers say, when a family member of Gumaer living in Okaloosa County, Florida, had recently informed that "someone was going to report him for child abuse."
Shortly thereafter, court papers say, the family member received a package containing two hard drives that Gumaer claimed contained family photos he "did not want to lose."
The family member believed Gumaer's statement until receiving word of his arrest by Endicott police, according to court papers, then viewed one the hard drives to verify its contents.
Six "disgusting" images of child pornography involving a 3-year-old girl were found on the hard drive, the family member told law enforcement officials.
The criminal complaint filed by the FBI alleges there was "sufficient probable cause" to believe Gumaer and "possibly others as yet unknown" produced and possessed child pornography, based on the digital images and allegations of sexual conduct with the child victim.
Gumaer could face up to 20 years in federal prison, if convicted of the charges brought by the U.S. Attorney's Office. Prosecutors say he is presumed innocent of the charges, unless proven guilty in court.

A MEMBER of Families SA predator Shannon McCoole’s depraved website, who revealed the extent of the evil enterprise in letters to his lawyer, has been jailed for seven years.
In a marathon 90-minute sentencing on Tuesday, the District Court used David Glen Cecchins own confessions and excuses to illustrate why he deserved immediate imprisonment.
His letters also provided disturbing insight into the mind of a child sex predator, their justifications for their behaviour and their belief they are unfairly “isolated”.
Chief Judge Geoffrey Muecke said Cecchin’s “monologues” of “mild superiority” were a failed attempt to make his “heinous” conduct “less blameworthy” and his crimes “less heinous”.
He said Cecchin portrayed himself as an “indignant”, wrongly incarcerated “victim of peer pressure” from McCoole and others — an image he declined to accept.
Instead, he ruled Cecchin had both fed and benefited from McCoole’s disgusting appetite for child sex abuse as a “special VIP member” of his illicit website.
“It is difficult for me to have any confidence in respect of much of what you have said (about) why you offended in the ways you did,” he said.
“I suspect you might not know yourself, nor do you fully appreciate the enormity of what you did.
“It makes no difference whether the abuser is behind the lens of a camera, performing the sex act or viewing the image online — all are perpetrators of disgusting and abhorrent abuse.
Each image of video (of child exploitation) is an image or video of a crime scene.”
Cecchin, 28, of Flagstaff Hill, pleaded guilty to multiple aggravated counts of possessing, disseminating and producing child pornography.
Between September 2012 and August 2014, he was a user of and contributor to McCoole’s website — the former Families SA carer is serving a 35-year jail term.
Cecchin was one of several people responsible for a “VIP account” on the site that uploaded 1124 posts — or 10 GB of data — over that two-year period.
At the time of his arrest, he was in possession of 1500 items of child exploitation, 90 per cent of which were still images while the remainder were video files.
He also authored a letter to his former counsel defending his actions, saying it was “powerful” to see children respond “positively” to sex acts performed upon them by adults.
In June — more than two years after his arrest — he finally admitted to having viewed material created by McCoole himself, having previously and repeatedly denied doing so.
In sentencing on Tuesday, Chief Judge Muecke said police were still locked out of Cecchin’s computer equipment, as he had refused to provide passwords.
“Your offending was prolonged, extensive and grave (but) the actual extent and detail of it is still not known, and it may never be known,” he said.
A possible reason for that reluctance, he said, was contained in Cecchin’s other letters to his former lawyer, from which Chief Judge Muecke read aloud.
“The thought of what may or may not be on those discs disgusts me, the thought of the amount more so … I find that revolting … it built up over the years,” Cecchin wrote.
In the letters, Cecchin expressed his preference for girls between the ages of 6 and 7 and described his interactions with McCoole.
Jailed Families SA paedophile Shannon McCoole with one of the infants in his care.
(McCoole) molests numerous children between the ages of 3 and 7 … he works in a position of care … he looks after other people’s children,” he wrote.
“The kids have different skin colours so they were not his.”
Cecchin described McCoole posting a picture of abuse featuring, in the background, a post-it note bearing Cecchin’s website username as “proof” the photo was taken for him.
He is also the administrator of the largest child porn website on the internet, the ‘dark web’ … he has been doing it for a while … it was him that enticed me to join,” he said.
It now has close to 50,000 membersyou are expected to disseminate (child exploitation material) every 40 days … new users have to fortnightly.”
Cecchin wrote that McCoole had discussed giving him an administrator’s position on the site but he declined.
He also wrote that, to evade the demand for new material, he had pretended family members had been in car accidents because it was “harder” for McCoole to check on that excuse.
“(My involvement) is something that makes me feel dirty and violated … when I see an innocent child, I hope that they never have to see that world,” he wrote.
“I also feel I’ve lost a piece of my own innocence — a piece of my soul, maybe — by being part of it.”
In the letter defending his actions, Cecchin wrote that a child molester’s feelings of isolation “festered” if they could not find like-minded people with whom to communicate.
He wrote that it was “very powerful” to “share that part of myself without judgment”.
“I had always intended to quit (the website) and thought that would happen when I experienced love with another adult, when the little boy inside me grew up,” he wrote.
“I hope that the (justice) system will not betray me.”
Chief Judge Muecke said the letters made it clear Cecchin was a “deviant” paedophile, was not a victim and needed both psychiatric and psychological treatment.
“You give the affect of mild superiority and indignation that you are incarcerated when you see yourself as a victim of manipulation by other internet users,” he said.
“You tend to give long monologues and view your offending as peripheral or secondary to your main interest — communicating with others who share an interest in computers.
“I’m satisfied that you did not terminate your behaviour, partly because you got off on it, you had been viewing (the site) for years and you wished to maintain your special VIP membership.”
He imposed a non-parole period of 4 ½ years.

Shannon Grant McCoole, 33had pleaded guilty to a horrifying list of sex offences committed against young children in his care. They were as young as 18 months old. One had autism. Another was disabled.
McCoole was also described as the “CEO” of an international child pornography website with more than 1000 members. He would share videos and photos of him abusing his victims with fellow paedophiles around the world.
Cheers rang out across the courtroom as District Court Judge Paul Rice sentenced McCoole to 35 years in prison with a non-parole period of 28 years.
The judge told McCoole he would have to spend most of his time in prison “in protection” living with “self-inflicted infamy”.
Judge Rice said McCoole had run an “evil” international child pornography operation.
“There are those who might describe your actions as sick but I prefer evil and depraved,” he said.
“It is not easy to put into words the reach of your offending.
“It has and will continue to have serious effects on your victims, although the extent of it remains uncertain.
“You have no moral compass. You were excited and sought sexual satisfaction, not just from touching very young children but also having sexual intercourse with infants. What would incline you to do such a thing is far beyond my comprehension. It engenders feelings of outrage and revulsion among right-thinking people.”
Judge Rice called the website “highly sophisticated, elaborate, organised and controlled”.
In the website profile, McCoole listed his occupation as “professional photographic sex instructor”, his interests as “anything below 12”, and his hobby as “Sex, sex, sex, more sex, natural weight loss for chubby kids”.
Judge Rice said McCoole’s case exposed an evil beyond the scale of anything he had experienced in his entire time as a judge, crown prosecutor and defence counsel.
“One of the most remarkable submission laid on your behalf is that when you are eventually released you wish to work with young people who may have paedophilic tendencies like you did so as to help them,” he said.
“What arises from that is that there are serious reservations that I have about your insight into your offending. Knowing what I do about your offending it is fanciful in the extreme for you to contemplate that you may be permitted to work with young people ever again.”
Judge Rice said was was troubled by McCoole’s claim that it was only when taught by Families SA about the long-term consequences of child abuse that he understood the gravity of his crimes.
“It is absurd to suggest that you needed education within Families SA to gain that realisation,” he said. “These last two topics cause me to be very guarded about your long-term prospects of rehabilitation.”

An eight-year prison sentence has been handed down to a man who admitted making pornographic videos of his six-year-old nephew being sexually assaulted by the boy's own father.
The 27-year-old, who is originally from Eastern Europe but has been living in Ireland for some years, pleaded guilty at the circuit court to four counts of producing child pornography between 2014 and 2015.
*Please note some readers may find this content disturbing*
The court heard this week that the accused did not take part in the abuse on the six-year-old boy, who is profoundly disabled, but video-recorded it as his brother was raping and sexually assaulting the boy.
The accused's brother has already been dealt with in the Central Criminal Court, where he received a 20-year sentence for rape.
The abuse and pornography were discovered after an international investigation into child pornography which involved police forces in Australia and New Zealand as well as Europol and Interpol.
Gardaí and the HSE raised the accused's brother's home in Co Tipperary in March of last year and found computer equipment there, and at an industrial unit used by his brother, which contained over 12,000 image files and 68 video files of child pornography.
The court heard that the accused's brother was the "main offender" in this case and that only some of the files found were produced by the accused.
Judge Thomas Teehan imposed a 10-year prison term on each of the four counts, to run concurrently, suspending the last two years in light of the accused's guilty plea and co-operation with gardai.
The judge said he could not remember "more repulsive facts outlined to a court than the facts in this case".
The six-year-old victim had been subjected to "depraved acts perpetrated by his father and recorded by his uncle" and it was difficult to imagine a more extreme example of such violations.

BAY MINETTE, Alabama — A Bay Minette man is facing rape, sodomy and child pornography charges, turning himself into police after video surfaced on social media.
Christopher Deshaun Adams, 27, is in jail in a $50,000 bond after police say he videotaped himself having intercourse with a 15-year-old girl at a local motel and posted it on social media.
According to reports the victim’s mother contacted the Bay Minette Police Department on Dec. 1after finding videos on her daughter’s phone of what appeared to be an older man having intercourse with her daughter. Through investigation, police identified Adams as a suspect in the case and issued a warrant for his arrest.
Adams turned himself in to the Bay Minette Police Department on Dec. 13 after learning of warrants for his arrest. Police are currently investigating whether or not there could have been other victims.
Adams was booked into the Baldwin County Corrections Facility, charged with second degree rape, second degree sodomy and production of pornography with minors. Since all three are felony charges and handled through District Court, the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is listed as the arresting party, but the case is being investigated by the Bay Minette Police Department, said Cpl. Durban - Two of three men facing child pornography charges discussed how to drug and rape children, the Durban Regional Court heard on Thursday.
This was contained in email correspondence between Jacques Rheeder and accused 1, prosecutor Jerome Gnanapragas told the court during their appearance.
"As such the State intends adding an additional charge of conspiracy to rape for accused 2 [Rheeder]. We are also in the process of tracing potential victims, amp;" he said.
Gavin Faustmann, Jacques Rheeder and a third man who may not be named, identified only as accused one, were arrested in a joint swoop by the US Department of Homeland Security and SAPS last week.
Faustmann and Rheeder had been charged with possession and distribution of child pornography.
Bail granted
Accused one was charged with rape, sexual assault, and grooming of a 6-year-old child to create child pornography. He may not be named to protect the child's identity.
The girl was apparently his neighbour. After investigators took a statement from the girl, it emerged that she may have been raped.
Rheeder and accused one, represented by a Legal Aid attorney, had their formal bail applications postponed.
Faustmann, who initially spilled the beans on his co-accused, was granted bail of R3 500.
The wheel-alignment technicians had to report to the Pinetown police station twice a week and were prohibited from international travel.
According to information placed before the court, the sordid web was unravelled when homeland security traced Faustmann's IP address after he accessed a flagged child pornography website.
A warrant of arrest was issued and his electronic equipment was seized.
Faustmann then revealed the identities of accused 1 and Rheeder, who were subsequently arrested.

A little league coach arrested in September on charges of child pornography and soliciting parents for sex with their children is now facing additional felony charges, including the manufacturing of child pornography.
Hughes was arrested on September 15th on charges of using a computer to solicit parental consent to engage in sexual conduct with a child, directly promoting sexual performance by a child and transmission of child pornography via electronic device.
He was charged after one of the mothers he contacted on social media tipped-off Walton County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) investigators.
The investigation into his arrest continued following Hughes’ arrest with a search warrant and additional interviews. In the following months WCSO investigators combed through thousands of files uncovering photographic and digital evidence on a computer seized during the search warrant.
Enough evidence was collected during the investigation to warrant charges of manufacturing child porn and felony domestic battery by strangulation.
“To actually file the charge for the victim means justice for that victim,” said Investigator Ben Dowdy. “We want each victim to know they’re being advocated for.”
Hughes was served the warrant while incarcerated at the Walton County Jail where he is being held on $507,500 bond. This is still an active investigation and more charges are expected to be filed in the future.
