A YOUNG woman was drugged and raped in a southern Sydney pizza shop by a man and three teens — including one who was just 15
NSW Police allege the males, the 15-year-old, two 17-year-olds, an 18-year-old and a 38-year-old, gave the 18-year-old woman an “unknown substance” while they were all at a pizza shop on Forest Rd, in Lugarno.
The woman had gone there with one of the 17-year-olds, who she knew, on October 18 last year. After they arrived at the pizza shop, they met up with the others, who the woman didn’t know.
A police statement said it was at the pizza shop the men gave her the substance and she was then sexually assaulted “a number of times”.
After the men took turns assaulting her, she was dropped off in the Riverwood CBD and found by a passer-by, who called emergency services.
Paramedics helped the woman and took her to Liverpool Hospital, where police were contacted.
Officers attached to the St George Local Area Command have been investigating since last October and made the four arrests yesterday.
All four were charged with aggravated sexual assault in company and refused bail. The teenagers will appear at a children’s court and the man will appear at Liverpool Local Court today.
