CHILD PORN ADDICTION 19

A laughing pervert who tried to meet a young boy in a shopping centre toilet for sex was found with a vile video of a nappy-wearing child being raped.
Michael Aldridge, from Newcastle, was initially caught out last year by self-proclaimed paedophile hunters Dark Justice when he tried to meet a fictitious 13-year-old girl.
The 35-year-old was on bail for the crime when he told a community psychiatric nurse he had a sexual interest in children and may have downloaded indecent images.
When detectives looked through his computer they discovered a vile library of images including the nappy rape video, reports the Newcastle Chronicle.
They also found Skype conversations between Aldridge and a real 13-year-old boy, who he tried to arrange to meet in a shopping centre toilet and a hotel for sex.
He had also asked the schoolboy to send an indecent video of himself.
Now Aldridge has been jailed for three years after he admitted inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity and possessing indecent images.
As well as the prison sentence he must sign the sex offenders’ register indefinitely, was made subject to a sexual harm prevention order and was barred from working with children.
Referring to the “most disturbing offence” against the boy, Judge Stephen Earl, at Newcastle Crown Court said: “Within 20 minutes of going online to chat he was proposing to meet up with this child.
“The conversation showed penetrative sex was likely to take place, including bondage.
“When the child said he couldn’t stay overnight he suggested meeting in shopping centre toilets but it didn’t happen because the defendant had put his back out. He suggested meeting in a hotel, he had made a booking.
“The mother of the boy says it left him feeling ashamed and apologetic for the effects on him and his family.”
Kevin Wardlaw, prosecuting, told an earlier hearing that Aldridge was arrested in the Dark Justice sting in October 2016 and was on bail for that offence when he downloaded the indecent images and began chatting to the 13-year-old boy.
Mr Wardlaw said: “He was seen by a community psychiatric nurse. In a conversation with the nurse, he disclosed a sexual attraction towards children, which was reported immediately to the police by the nurse.
“The decision was made to urgently carry out checks on the defendant’s devices.”
The court was told that, on a laptop and hard drive, more than 600 indecent images and videos of children were found, including 31 category A, which are the most serious kind and involve penetrative sexual activity.
Officers also found Skype conversations between Aldridge and a 13-year-old boy, in which they had agreed to meet for sex, including bondage, Mr Wardlaw said.
The prosecutor added: “When he heard the child couldn’t spend the night with him, he said they could use a shopping centre loo for sexual activity.
“That meeting didn’t take place because the defendant injured his back. However, he messaged the child to say he had booked a hotel for April 28 and 29 2017.”
The prosecutor said Aldridge told the teenager to bring “condoms, lube and cuffs” and was found to have booked a room at a Holiday Inn Express in the North West.
Mr Wardlaw said: “It was quite apparent the intention was penetrative sexual activity to take place with the 13-year-old child.”
However, police searched Aldridge’s home on the day the meeting was due to take place on April 28 and seized his computers.
Brian Hegarty, mitigating, said Aldridge had pleaded guilty and had sought help for his sexual attraction to children.
He said: “This is not a defendant who clearly has a sexual interest in children and seeks to hide it to get access to children whenever he can.”
Mr Hegarty also said Aldridge experienced a troubled childhood and has no previous convictions.

A 60-year-old Yeadon man who pleaded guilty in May to one count of sexual abuse of children for possessing child pornography was sentenced Wednesday to 18 to 36 months in a state correctional facility.
Allan Wickersham, of the 700 block of Yeadon Avenue, was also given four years of sex offender probation and will have to register as a sex offender under Megan’s Law for 15 years under the sentence handed down by Delaware County Common Pleas Court Judge Kevin F. Kelly.
Wickersham was arrested in December for possessing more than 8,000 images and videos of child pornography. He was originally charged with 102 counts of possessing and distributing child pornography, as well as criminal use of a communication facility.
An affidavit of probable cause for his arrest indicates the months-long investigation began when Delaware County Detective Sgt. Kenneth Bellis attempted to download files from a computer on the BitTorent peer-to-peer file sharing network between April 22 and April 26, 2016.
Bellis confirmed the files contained child pornography and traced the distinctive Internet Protocol address of the sharing computer to one provided by RCN Telecom Services.
The cable provider identified the IP address as belonging to Allan P. Wickersham at the Yeadon Avenue address, where Bellis executed a search warrant Aug. 26, 2016, with the help of Yeadon police officers and the Department of Homeland Security.
Wickersham was home when the warrant was executed and agreed to speak with detectives, according to the affidavit.
“Mr. Wickersham identified several electronic devices, including computers that he stated contain images and videos of child pornography,” according to the affidavit. “(He) admitted to being attracted to females 10 years of age and using an uTorrent file sharing program to search for child pornography.
Police confiscated a Gateway desktop, an HP laptop, two Seagate external hard drives and several other devices.
A forensic examination of the desktop revealed more than 1,000 images and videos depicting children engaged in sexual acts or poses, according to the affidavit. Another 3,000-plus images and videos were discovered on the laptop and more than 400 were found on one of the Seagate drives. More than 500,000 additional images were discovered on the devices that may or may not meet the legal definition of child pornography, according to the affidavit.
Some of the images showed children between the ages of 10-14 years, the affidavit states, including those depicting bondage, penetration or attempted penetration of a child.
Assistant District Attorney Chris Boggs was seeking a sentence of two to four years. Boggs noted the recommendation was in the bottom of the standard range despite some aggravating factors.
Defense attorney Matthew Sedacca told the judge his client has never been arrested before, suffers from numerous health issues, cooperated with police, waived his preliminary hearing and entered an open plea. Wickersham also appears to be responding well to treatment and is a low risk for recidivism, said Sedacca.
Wickersham apologized for any pain he had caused his family, the community and his church.
“I’m sorry that I brought this on myself,” he said. “I viewed it as a way to, I think, somewhat maybe reclaim my youthfulness. I did it as a way to put my mind in somewhat like of a Zen-like nature. I was not truly aware of all the pain or horrific consequences of my actions.”
Kelly denied Sedacca’s request for electronic home monitoring, noting Wickersham does not qualify for intermediate punishment due to the nature of his crimes.
“This wasn’t one, or two, or 10, or even 100 images,” he added. “I’m not sure with certainty the amount of time it takes one to acquire 8,000-plus such images, but I trust we agree it didn’t happen in a day or two.”
Wickersham remains free on unsecured $400,000 bail. He was ordered to report to the county prison to begin his sentence Oct. 30.

CHILD PORN ADDICTION 6 9 maggio 2017

Former Glee actor Mark Salling has pleaded guilty to possession of images of child sex abuse.
Salling, 35, now faces between four and seven years in prison and has been ordered to pay about $50,000 (£38,000) to each victim.
The actor was arrested in 2015 after a tip off he was in possession of images of children being sexually abused.
Investigators eventually found thousands of images on his laptop and hard drive.
Salling was charged with two counts of receiving and possessing images of child sexual abuse in May 2016, and faced a possible 20 years behind bars.
But documents obtained by several outlets show he has entered into a plea deal with California's district attorney.
As part of the agreement, Salling will be subject to 20 years supervised release and will have strict restrictions placed on his contact with under-18s, according to celebrity website TMZ.
Salling played bad-boy football player Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the hit US show Glee from 2009 to 2015.

A bus driver and wedding photographer who downloaded vile film clips of young children being abused and sex with animals has been jailed for 16 months.

Father-of-two Phil Davidson used search terms such as “baby rape” and “kiddy rape’’ to obtain the material.

He amassed a collection of 527 movies featuring children as young as 18 months suffering serious sex acts, involving bondage and even a dog.

Maidstone Crown Court heard the clips at the most serious level would take three-and-a-half days to view.

Davidson, of Keating Close, Rochester, bizarrely claimed it gave him relief from depression by seeing “worse pain” inflicted in the images.

Judge Adele Williams told the married 39-year-old, who admitted possessing indecent images of children and extreme pornography, that the offences were so serious imprisonment was inevitable.

“Those who commit offences such as these do not take account of the fact there are real children being subjected to real abuse in these images,” she said.

“While there are those such as you who are prepared to possess such images this dreadful practice will continue to exist.

“Your offending is very serious because of the number of images and because of their extreme nature.

“The search terms you were using can leave no doubt about the sort of images you were seeking. Some of them were babies.

Davidson, now said to be going through divorce proceedings and living alone in a one-bedroom flat, wept in the dock.

He at first denied being responsible for downloading the indecent images when police raided his home on December 19 last year. His wife and children were present.

But prosecutor Ben Irwin said the sordid material was found on Davidson’s laptops.

It was of an extremely graphic nature of sexual abuse of very young children,” he said.

“One movie involved a dog and in a category B image the victim was aged between 18 months and two years.

“Search terms used highlights the defendant has deliberately and systematically sought out the most extreme forms of sexual abuse of very young children.

Davidson was said to have developed a fear of cancer and his wife was diagnosed with a rare illness which decompressed the skull and spine.

Dee Connolly, defending, said Davidson’s life was now “in tatters”, having lost his job, marriage and good character.

“He is very much isolated and feels great shame and remorse. He stands before you a broken man,” she added.

An NSPCC spokesperson said: “There are no excuses for viewing footage of children being sexually abused.
"Children suffered the most horrific abuse to create this despicable material and by accessing it Davidson helped fuel this vile trade.
“To help tackle this growing issue, it is vital that tech companies, government, law enforcement and charities like ours work together to ensure there are fewer opportunities for people to view and share child sexual abuse images online.”
Davidson’s name will be on the sex offenders’ register for 10 years and a sexual harm prevention order was made for the same period.

He will be barred indefinitely from working with children and vulnerable adults.

“I know I should feel bad, but I don’t.”

These were the words of William Beale, 39 -a Plettenberg Bay man who pleaded guilty to just short of 19 000 charges of possession of child pornography - about his feelings towards children being abused for pornography purposes.

Colonel Bronwynn Stollarz, with the police investigative psychology unit, took the stand during sentencing proceedings in the Knysna Regional Court and testified these were his words during consultation.

She added that he felt empathy for animals and therefore could not watch any form of animal abuse.

Beale was the first South African to have been arrested as part of Operation Cloud 9, which involved co-operation between South African and Belgian police responsible for cracking down on an international child pornography ring linked to a cyber meeting space for paedophiles whose fetishes seem to be the sexual abuse of babies. Some of the images found included the torture and murder of babies as young as only a few days old.

When Beale was arrested police found sections of files containing thousands of videos and violent assaults as well internet addresses of more than 300 alleged paedophiles.

He pleaded guilty to about 19 000 charges of possession of child pornography in February following his arrest by international police in January 2015.

He was subsequently released on R10 000 bail and relocated to Kimberley to live with his brother.

Stollarz testified yesterday that she had come to the conclusion that Beale suffered from paraphilia (abnormal sexual desires) - which she believes would be a life-long battle - urophilia (sexual pleasure from the sight or thought of urination), has paedophilic disorder and has anti-social personality traits.

She also shed light on his background which includes several forms of sexual and physical childhood abuse.

She testified that Beale’s biological mother was an alcoholic, that his father had died at a young age and that he grew up in orphanages and foster homes.

Stollarz added that after he completed school, he lived on the streets and relied on stealing food and other necessities to get by. He also abused substances including opioids, mandrax and dagga.

Stollarz said according to Beale, the child porn images that he viewed had more to do with his interest in the “dark web” and the challenge of accessing “locked files”.

Beale contradicted himself during their consultation and was also manipulative. She explained that he had initially reported to her that his paraphilic interests only started in in his twenties, but later admitted that he had urophilic interests at the age of about 11. The latter she said was consistent with studies on the matter.

He also reported to her that he did not have a sexual interest in children, yet admitted he became aroused viewing children engaging in sexual activity - especially if he believed them to be siblings. “For someone who is not interested in such material, it is difficult to watch,” Stollarz said adding that he had often viewed images for extensive periods of up to eight hours at a time.

Stollarz said he also attempted to minimise his involvement by telling her that the child pornography formed only a small percentage of the images he collected.

She also testified that there were several factors present with Beale, which made him a risk of re-offending including his paedophilic disorder, anti-social personality traits, substance abuse, difficulty forming successful sexual relationships with partners and his criminal history.

Beale was convicted on a drug possession charge earlier in life and was found in possession of dagga during his arrest in 2015.

The matter was postponed to October 23 for heads of argument to be prepared before sentencing. - Garden Route Media

Facing 19 000 child porn charges, accused 'doesn't feel bad' WEEKEND ARGUS /  /

A MAN was caught with hundreds of indecent images of children after sharing some online, a court heard.

Kirk Bradbury first claimed the images got on his computer through ‘pop-ups’ when raided by police on June 30 last year. But the 38-year-old confessed to looking at them after police analysed his computer and mobile phone and found 371 images and movies.

Bradbury swapped messages with a pervert in America, and uploaded a link to file-sharing site Dropbox containing indecent images. He claimed one image, which although wasn’t indecent was of a child, was for a ‘scrap book’.

Children aged from infants up to teenagers were on the images found on his devices, Portsmouth Crown Court heard. In all he had 126 videos and 17 still images at category A – the worst, with 66 movies and 14 stills at B.

Prosecutor Martyn Booth said Bradbury, of Gosport Road, Fareham, had 40 movies and 94 images at category C. Bradbury’s Samsung mobile phone had one category A image and 14 C images. ‘All of those are of young girls from infants up to teens,’ Mr Booth said.

The court heard Bradbury had said he looked at legal pornography and got this from Dropbox links, including the indecent images which he ‘didn’t remember having gone back to look at the images’.

Police found messages swapped between Bradbury and a person in America, he added. Two category C images had been uploaded to a Dropbox folder by Bradbury. When quizzed, Bradbury admitted responsibility for the images but denied a sexual interest in children. But Mr Booth said: ‘It must demonstrate a plain sexual interest in children.’

A probation report found he was at low risk of re-offending and would benefit from courses. Sentencing, Judge David Melville QC said they were ‘serious offences’. But he spared him jail as he had no related previous convictions, he has a loving family to support him, he made partial admissions and he’s helped his ill father.

The judge said there was ‘a prospect’ he ‘can be rehabilitated’. Bradbury was sentenced to a two-year community order with 30 days of rehabilitation activities and must pay £750 prosecution costs and an £85 victim surcharge. A five-year order restricts his internet use and he must sign the sex offenders’ register for five years. Bradbury admitted distributing indecent images of children and three charges of making indecent images.

A ‘DISGUSTING’ paedophile who routinely collected videos of children as young as three being raped and sexually abused to feed his habit has been spared jail.
James Pearce, 46, of Stoodham, South Petherton, appeared at Taunton Crown Court on Tuesday after he pleaded guilty to making indecent photographs of children, possession of prohibited images of children, and an extreme pornographic image featuring bestiality.
He was given an 18-month prison sentence suspended for two years, as well as a sexual harm prevention order for 10 years, a notification order for 10 years, a two-year supervision requirement, and two programmes to prevent reoffending.
Pearce made no comment when he was arrested by police last April and interviewed, and did not enter a plea at his first court appearance, at Somerset Magistrates in Yeovil.
Patrick Mason, prosecuting, said: “He pleaded guilty to all counts on the indictment at his plea and trial preparation hearing on August 29.
“He is 46, he was born in 1971, and he has no previous convictions.”
The court heard that police first became aware of Pearce’s involvement on file sharing programmes in July 2015.
Mr Mason said: “On April 4, a search warrant was executed at his address in South Petherton and a number of items of computer hardware were seized - two tablets, two laptops and a memory stick.
Discussing the use of these devices to access child pornography, Mr Mason added: “The earliest use was in 2007. The more intensive use seems to be in the 12 months prior to the machines being seized.
“The computers were being used for routine, organised collection of images.”
Pearce was found to have 499 images and 1,226 movies which fell into category A, the most serious level of indecent content.
He also had 544 images and 393 movie files which were category B in nature, and a further 1,129 photographs and 121 films of category C.
Pearce was also in possession of prohibited images of children, and an extreme pornographic image which portrayed in an explicit and realistic way a person performing acts of intercourse and oral sex with a live animal which were grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise of an obscene character.
Harry Ahuja, mitigating, said: “The material went in low in age as three, and there were some videos where children were in discernible pain, although those files were small within the number of files found.
“I have to concede there was a long period of time… it was about five years or six years of use.
“He is someone who has been severely isolated and someone who hasn’t had an adult relationship in his life. He is an introverted individual and he has remained living with his father most of his life.
He started off with adult porn and ended up looking at children, doing that on a regular basis and it became a habit for him.
“It didn’t occur to him that he was causing indirect harm. He is very remorseful for what he has done and is showing all the right signs for rehabilitation.
“The probation services take the view that he is a good rehabilitation prospect. This is a man that ought to be given an opportunity by way of a suspended sentence.
“Because he is a lesser risk probation are suggesting two courses on a one-to-one basis. Probation feel that is the best way to reduce risk.”
The court heard that Pearce has lived in South Petherton for many years and is well known in the village, including working in a supermarket for more than 20 years.
Judge David Evans said: “James Pearce, you are 46 and you are a paedophile.
“I must sentence you for five offences – three counts of making photographs of children at all category levels A, B and C, one count of possessing two prohibited images of children, and a fifth charge of possessing graphic images depicting bestiality.
You had images depicting children, some as young as babies, being raped and otherwise sexual abused found on four devices, some images dating back as far as a decade ago.
“It seems you gave no thought to the quite obvious harm to these children as you sat in your bedroom.
“It must be difficult for ordinary members of the public to understand how another adult, another human being, could not see the obvious distress and harm caused to these children when they are forced to engage in sexual activities.
It is people like you that generate a market for such images, without which there would be no point in the images being distributed. The harm you have caused is indirect but nonetheless great.
“The children depicted are sometimes babies and they are clearly vulnerable, if only through young age.
The period of downloading images is a long one, at least four or five years. That is a considerable period of time to be engaged in this disgusting activity and there was a high volume found on a number of devices.
“There is clearly evidence of searching the internet for category A, the worst images, using phrases like pre-teen hardcore.
“It seems clear you are making no excuses as is often the seen by people in your position.
“You have lost your job and so you should have. You have lost the trust of your father and sister and so you should have done.
“I am not sure how the people of South Petherton will judge you. I doubt being a paedophile goes down well in that village.
“Your lack of intimate adult relationships make you vulnerable to reoffending in the future “You have taken some first steps, although they are very easy to take. It will get harder.
“Rehabilitation is unlikely to be achieved either in prison or during the limited period of time on license or supervision on your release.

'Disgusting' paedophile James Pearce, 46, of South Petherton, caught with thousands of videos is spared jail oCTOBER 04 2017

A Washington man who paid impoverished Filipinos to sexually abuse children on video has been sentenced to nine years in federal prison.
Joseph Grubbs, 69, previously admitted to receiving child rape videos produced in the Philippines at his request. The Camano Island resident received the disturbing images and videos by email, and watched live webcasts of the abuse.
The depravity of this defendant’s conduct is beyond words,” U.S. Attorney Annette L. Hayes said in a statement. “He took advantage of poverty in a country half a world away to facilitate the sexual abuse of children. The result was the perpetuation of a vicious cycle of abuse and victimization that harmed the most vulnerable among us.”
Grubbs was arrested in July 2016 after he was outed to the FBI by Yahoo. Several Yahoo users in the Philippines were using the company’s email and instant messaging services to sexually exploit children.
Joseph Vernon Grubbs paid people in the Philippines to sexually exploit minors and send him images and videos of that sexual abuse,” Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Hampton said in court papers. “He used the desperation of people living under extreme economic deprivation to satisfy his own sexual appetites.”
Prior to his arrest, Grubbs traveled frequently to the Philippines, living there for six months out of the year. Grubbs had been dating a woman there who had a young daughter.
According to a defense statement, Grubbs served in the Navy during the Vietnam War and first visited the Philippines while serving. Grubbs contended he first “discovered” child pornography while frequenting Filipino chatrooms, and ultimately live-streamed child sexual abuse occurring there.
“No child has ever accused him of sexual misconduct, and there is no reason to believe that Mr. Grubbs was in search of child pornography when he developed his interest,” Assistant Public Defender Corey Endo said in court papers. “Mr. Grubbs is not the monster the government makes him out to be.”
Hampton noted that Grubbs admitted following his arrest that he had been collecting child pornography for years. The prosecutor also pointed out that Grubbs did not stop collecting child pornography until the FBI intervened.
By the time investigators got to him, Grubbs was living in an RV on a property in Stanwood. He resided in Mount Vernon for most of the prosecution.
Grubbs was sentenced Thursday by U.S. District Judge Thomas Zilly. Grubbs was ordered to remain under court supervision for 15 years following his release from prison.

A former secondary school teacher who downloaded hundreds of pornographic images of children was today (Friday) jailed for two and a half years.

Denis Bresnahan, who has recently been working as a private tutor, also took indecent photographs of a child himself and distributed images over the internet to other web users.

Bresnahan set up a number of fake internet accounts using false profile pictures which he used to participate in sexualised chat

Bresnahan, 67, from Bourne, but now of Houghton Court, Billingborough, admitted three charges of making a total of 3,381 indecent images of children over a five year period up to January this year. He also admitted distributing and making indecent images of a child, possession of a prohibited image and possession of 131 extreme pornographic images.

Recorder John Hardy QC described Bresnahan as “depraved”. Lisa Hardy, prosecuting, told Lincoln Crown Court said that Bresnahan’s internet usage was brought to the attention of police and his then home in Heartsease Way, Bourne, was raided. Mrs Hardy said “When the police explained what they were there for he said he might know something of the allegations.”

A computer tower, a lap top and a memory stick were all later examined and the 3,381 indecent images of children were found. These included 907 of the most serious type of which 432 were films. Mrs Hardy said Bresnahan used a variety of fake internet profiles including that of a middle-aged woman, teenaged girl, younger girls and a young boy.

“Examination of his Skype account showed that he was in communication with a number of other internet users and was sharing and distributing indecent images with others. “He was arrested and interviewed. He was asked questions about his Skype accounts and sexualised chats over Skype and he made no comment.”

Michael Phillips, in mitigation, said “It is about as low he can get. My client is nearly 70 years old and of previous good character. “He has had a variety of jobs over the course of his life. He was a teacher at a secondary school teaching general science for 15 years. Latterly he has worked as a private tutor for many, many years. It is to his credit that there has never been any suggestion of impropriety.”

He said that Bresnahan suffered from a lack of libido as a result of a medical problem and although he was prescribed medication he turned to pornography. Mr Phillips said “He decided he would self-medicate by using pornography. He started using legal pornography before moving into illegal pornography. He started frequenting chatrooms. He was pretending to be a teenage girl in conversations with other people. His stimulation was in engaging in depraved chat with people online. He retired in 2015. That led to an increase in his use of pornography and his use of chatrooms.” He told the court that Bresnahan stopped using pornography following his arrest and has since sought counselling.
